“Discover the secrets of wheat!”
We invite you on a journey of knowledge and taste at Cretan Gea. You will have the
opportunity to experience firsthand the life cycle of wheat, one of the most important
agricultural products of Crete.
What we will do together:
- From wheat to flour: We will use a traditional hand mill made of stone, a family heirloom, and observe the process of converting wheat into flour.
- Kneading and baking: We will make our own traditional recipe with freshly ground wheat and knead traditional bread which we will bake in the wood-fired oven in our yard.
- We will enjoy our freshly baked bread, accompanied by local olive products with sea salt and thyme and edible olives.

of one of nature’s most important goods.
