In the heart of Apokoronas, in the picturesque village of Xerosteri , a unique
experience awaits you that will introduce you to honey made from the aromatic herbs
of Crete. Cretan Gea invites you on a journey of taste and knowledge, where you
will discover the secrets of pure Cretan thyme honey .

What we offer you:

• Apiary: Visit the traditional apiary and get to know the life of bees from the inside. You will learn how honey is produced, what the stages of the process are and what secrets each spoon hides.
• Honey Tasting: Enjoy a unique tasting experience, where you will taste different varieties of thyme honey and discover their differences. An experienced beekeeper will guide you on this exciting tasting journey.
• Candle Making: Participate in a beeswax candle making workshop and create your own unique scented candles.
• Beeswax production: Participate in a beeswax production workshop from natural beeswax and create your own unique therapeutic cream with an essential oil of your choice.
• Hiking in beekeeping areas: Enjoy a relaxing hike in Roupakias forest, in Apokoronas, and breathe in the fresh air, while learning about the biodiversity of the area.
